Me holding my own weight.
This is the first entry piece into my Dreams and Nightmares collection, where I’m bringing my nightmares to life just in time for Halloween. I’ve pulled together everything I’ve learnt over the years, from anatomy to lighting tricks and poured it into this project to make something truly horrific.

The textures emphasize a mix of wet and dry areas, with subtle translucency in the blood and lifelike skin details, enhanced by subsurface scattering. The sturdy base anchors the piece, ensuring every element feels intentional. Consider it the start of what’s to come in this collection of horror / horrible and horrific—this is the beginning of exploration in fear and ambiguity and everything in between.

With this work, I want to explore the duality of beauty and horror, pushing my technical boundaries while evoking a chilling, otherworldly atmosphere. It marks not just the beginning of the collection, but also a step forward in my artistic growth and escape. It's a manifestation of the things that haunt us, made tangible for the Halloween season.
